DATELINE: BOSTON MA, ISSUED FEBRUARY 25, 2000Â…The 11th Annual Chocolate FoolÂ’s Day, the primary fundraising event for the Cambridge Performance Project, happens on Sunday, March 19, from 1-4 p. m. at the Westin Hotel, Copley Place, Boston. 800 to 1,000 people are expected to attend this tribute to chocolate.

SATISFY YOUR CRAVING FOR A GOOD CAUSE

All proceeds from this scrumptious celebration will provide scholarships in dance and theater classes for low-income children, ages 5 to 14, through the programs of the Cambridge Performance Project, a 16 year old non-profit organization.

WHO WILL DIVIDE THE SWEETS FROM THE SUBLIME?

The Cooking Couple™ Michael and Ellen Albertson have been invited to judge the concoctions of Boston’s premier chocolatiers and chefs. A sumptuous array of chocolate creations are donated by local hotels, confectioners, restaurants, bakeries and caterers. Samplings in the past have included: frozen fudge cake, chocolate orgasms, fallen chocolate soufflé with raspberry mousse, peanut butter and fudge pie with banana whipped cream, and even chocolate bagels, pizza and tacos.

COOKING ACCOMPLISHMENTS

The Cooking Couple™ have appeared in The Boston Globe, Glamour, Playboy, the Boston Herald and USA Today. Ellen Albertson, M. S., R. D. is a Registered Dietitian and well regarded health and nutrition journalist who regularly contributes to Better Homes and Gardens, Good Housekeeping, Self and Taste for Life. Michael, a former chef and stand-up comedian, has penned articles for Playboy, the New York Daily News, the Boston Herald, and Booming. She makes it healthy, he makes it taste good and together they make it fun.

This dynamic husband and wife duo, Arlington, MA residents, dish on everything from food, love, and life to child raising and raising hell. (After the baby is put to bed, of course.) They have appeared on EXTRA, Maury, the Food Network, WCVB Channel 5 News and NBC News.
