Wausau Financial Systems Signs Reseller Agreement for TFP's EPICWare(TM) Database Application
Reseller agreement allows Wausau Financial Systems to offer TFP's EPICWare(TM) as an integrated database application to remittance processors performing ARC Check Conversion
MOSINEE (PRWEB) April 25, 2003 -
Wausau Financial Systems (WFS) today announced an agreement with TFP (formerly Thomson Financial Publishing), to re-license and resell TFPÂs EPICWare database application software for use in WFS Optima3® ImageRPS family of remittance processing solutions.
Under the terms of the agreement, WFS will now offer the EPICWare database application as part of an Accounts Receivable Check (ARC) Check Conversion and Returns module available to Optima3 ImageRPS users who are converting paper-based deposits into automated clearinghouse (ACH) transactions governed under the ARC rules of the National Automated Clearinghouse Association (NACHA). The EPICWare database offers users the ability to efficiently validate American Bankers Association (ABA) Routing and Account Number Structures on large volumes of checks as well as make necessary conversions, corrections, or repairs for accurate ARC check conversion processing.
ÂBy adding the ability to validate each processed check against EPICWareÂs database of over 29,000 financial institution routing numbers and account number configurations, we will significantly improve the accuracy of ARC ACH file transmissions generated by our users and sharply reduce their volume of administrative return checks, commented Mike Tallitsch, WFS product manager of remittance solutions. ÂNow that EPICWare is fully integrated into ImageRPS and tier priced for small and large processors, WFS has further reinforced its position as an ARC check conversion technology leader.Â
ÂWe are excited to work with Wausau towards expanding their ARC check conversion offering, added Robert McKay, TFP senior product manager. ÂWausau brings to the table a strong combination of a successful sales force, in-depth remittance processing expertise, and an impressive knowledge of its market space. Their expertise in deploying ARC in numerous remittance processing environments makes this partnership exceptionally complementary.Â
