Home Care Alliance Launches New Website
HCA Webpage Will be a Greater Resource for Consumers, Job Seekers and Agencies
Boston, MA (PRWEB) May 21, 2009
The Home Care Alliance of Massachusetts has launched a new and much improved version of www. thinkhomecare. org, which will be a more efficient resource for those seeking home health care services, jobs in home care and home health, and for the Alliance's 150 member agencies.
The new website features a so that families and individuals can find a local agency that can meet their needs. A clickable map of Massachusetts enables consumers to search for agencies by town and by specialty service.
"Our new website is a cleaner and more efficient tool that can better connect people with vital services and care," said Home Care Alliance Executive Director Patricia Kelleher. "This site will allow us to better serve our member agencies and, more importantly, the people that they serve who wish to remain living independently in their homes."
The newest and most prominent feature is a news feed that shows all the Alliance is doing to represent and promote home health care. The news feed is continuously updated with reports on advocacy, policy, regulatory affairs, educational events, career opportunities and the most current publications the Alliance has to offer.
All of the website's old features are still available, though all have been updated and improved. Special buttons now link to the Alliance's calendar of events, an employment page listing jobs in the industry, and the Alliance's online advocacy center.
