WINTERHELLER Software Opens a New Branch Office in Paris - The French Market Continues Growing With a Start-Up Increase of 12.5% in 2004
WINTERHELLER software, provider of the technologically leading planning and controlling platform Professional Planner, strengthens its presence in Europe by opening a new branch office in Paris
Graz, Paris (PRWEB) March 10, 2005
According to the INSEE (French National Institute for Statistics and Economic Studies) last year 320,000 companies started up or were taken over in France, continuing the 2003 increase (+ 8.7%) in 2004 (+ 9%).
224,000 of the start-ups were completely new, representing 12.5% growth in comparison to the previous year.
Due to the favorable reception of Professional Planner in France in 2004, the year Virbac Group and Fenwick S. A. chose the product to enhance their business development, WINTERHELLER software decided to open a new branch office in Paris to serve the growing number of companies based there.
Virbac Group is a global pharmaceutical company focusing on animal health. The veterinary company is number nine worldwide. As far as Fenwick is concerned, the French company is selling quality machines and industrial equipment in the worldÂs largest markets.
ÂGiven the success of the Professional Planner solutions in France and the lack of a product like ours on this market, we realized that WINTERHELLER software had to be there to meet our clients demands in the best way says Irmgard Weinhandl, Managing Director at WINTERHELLER software.
France is known for having a large market for software and software services. The information technology sector ranks among the best in the world.
The new branch office will be managed by Christian Levanti. He has a long experience in sales management and has been dealing with management information systems for many years. Over the past year, Christian Levanti has worked intensively with Professional Planner.
ÂLevanti´s deep knowledge of the business systems industry and his successful experience with Professional Planner in France, render him the perfect person to run our business in this countryÂ, comments Ms. Weinhandl.
With the Paris office WINTERHELLER software acquires a central position in the European market, while continuing its expansion strategy with the help of its offices in four European countries and representations in more than 15 countries worldwide.
